Terms of Business

Effective Date: [Insert Date]

These Terms of Business (“Agreement”) govern the bespoke event services provided by Bruce Chops Events, a part of BAW Consulting Ltd (“We,” “Us,” or “Our”), to you, the client (“You” or “Client”). By engaging our services, you agree to these terms.

  1. Our Services

Bruce Chops Events specializes in providing bespoke event services tailored to your specific requirements.

  • Menus: All menus are designed using seasonal produce from artisanal producers and farms. This means that ingredients may change based on availability.
  • Pricing Inclusions: All menus include the cost of food production and delivery.
  • Exclusions: All menus are for food only. Alcohol, cocktails, and other drinks can be provided and will be quoted for separately. Any marquees or coverings, any equipment required for the event, tables and tableware will be charged separately. Additional staffing needed for the event will be charged as an addition and paid directly on the evening of the event.
  1. Booking and Payments

2.1. Booking Confirmation: An event date is secured upon your acceptance of our proposal/quote and our receipt of a 10% non-refundable deposit. This deposit confirms and holds your chosen date.

2.2. Payment Schedule:

* Deposit: A 10% non-refundable deposit of the total estimated Event cost is due immediately upon agreement of dates and receipt of the Booking Confirmation.

* Mid-Payment: A further 50% of the total estimated Event cost is due one (1) month prior to the Event date. This covers anticipated costs and ensures preparatory work.

* Final Balance: The remaining 40% of the total Event cost is due no less than forty-eight (48) hours before the scheduled Event commencement. Failure to make this payment may result in the cancellation of Services without refund.

2.3. VAT: All costs quoted or incurred are inclusive of UK Value Added Tax (VAT) and itemised on all invoices.

2.4. Additional Costs: Any services, goods, or changes requested by you outside the original Booking Confirmation are subject to additional charges, agreed in writing, and may require upfront payment.

  1. Cancellations and Changes

3.1. Cancellation by Client:

* The initial 10% deposit is non-refundable if you cancel at any time after the Booking Confirmation.

* If you cancel less than one (1) month before the Event date, the 50% mid-payment will also be non-refundable.

* If you cancel less than forty-eight (48) hours before the Event date, the full 100% of the total Event cost will be non-refundable.

3.2. Cancellation by Bruce Chops Events: We reserve the right to cancel due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control (Force Majeure) or if you breach these terms. In such cases, we will endeavour to provide an alternative date or a refund for services not yet rendered, less any non-recoverable costs incurred by us.

3.3. Changes to Event Details: All changes must be requested in writing and are subject to our approval and availability. Such changes may incur additional costs or affect the payment schedule.
